TOPHAT DBO LithoSPHERE - Glue-in point
The TopHat®Break-Off is a standard tip fitted with one or more break-offs at the bottom of the tip, which can be broken off as required to have the greatest flexibility in tuning arrows.
3D Shape:
Specifically designed for 3D animals, this shape is characterized by a very high effectiveness. The 3D tip shape penetrates the target more aggressively and in a straighter line compared to other shapes. The tip is deflection resistant due to its shape, which leads to less stress on the shaft and therefore protects it. The shape prevents the arrow from bouncing off the surface of the target.
Stainless steel (VA) material:
Stainless steel resists corrosion and is resistant to weather and other external factors. The solid material can be reground at any time.
TopHat® Protector cutting-edge technology:
TopHat®Break-Off tips are equivalent to standard tips for carbon arrows, with the special feature that weight tuning is an option.
The glue grooves on the shaft of the tip are deliberately kept shallow. This prevents excessive glue from being applied (incorrectly distributed glue can lead to imbalance).
Concentricity of the tip: 0.006 µ
Assembly:
After approx. 60 seconds, the break-off tip is securely bonded to the carbon shaft (when using TopHat®Bond). Roughen the carbon shaft slightly on the inside beforehand and clean it with a solvent. Apply 1-2 drops of TopHat®Bond to the tip and glue it in with a twisting motion as far as it goes. After a short time, the Protector tip is securely and firmly bonded to the carbon shaft.
