AVALON Tec-X Bow Bunker - Case for compound bows
The Tec-X Bow Bunker by AVALON is an extremely spacious compound bow case for
bows up to 44 inches, which is probably one of the most stable ones on the
market. Made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic it survived in tests even when
driven over by a car without any damage! The lid of the case, which is secured
with five latches, has a circumferential rubber seal that protects the contents
of the case from moisture and splashing water. Speaking of the lid, it remains
upright when opened and does not tip over backwards. This way, it is easier to
reach the arrows and you can put your equipment away more conveniently.
The interior of the Bow Bunker has three layers of foam. The lowest layer of
foam forms the floor and serves as padding downwards. The two layers on top are
each about 5cm thick and consist of so-called cube foam, a foam that is
pre-perforated into thousands of small cubes. The small cubes can be plucked out
as needed to perfectly adapt the foam layer to the respective bow.
Easy-running wheels and two carrying handles make it much easier to transport
the case and the bows. Of course the case also has eyelets in which U-locks can
be attached to lock the case. A small special feature of the AVALON Tec-X Bow
Bunker is the pressure valve. With this valve, air can be let into the case, in
case a vacuum has developed in the case after a longer closing time.
