BEIER German Taper Tool
A remake and improvement
of the traditional Taper Tool was very important to us. We wanted to reproduce
this product again, but this time for quality-conscious archers. Products of
this kind are our specialty and the passion of the owner of Beier, Uwe Beier. He
is one of the inventors in archery, who has already improved many tools and
components and also developed them. In addition to that, he is the one, who owns
the trade mark rights. This way you not only get a cone for the tip but also a
cone for the nocks - both of them in the highest quality.
In case of this remake, we made sure to use more high-quality materials that are barely used anymore. A cold hardened aluminium body - made in Germany - and of course also the super sharp blades that are made in Germany as well are absolutely necessary to us. Nowadays, the baldes are made of C 1095 steel, which ensures a better edge retention. In order to prevent vibrations when tapering/cutting, we chose to make a thicker blade and harden it to 64-67 HRC by a method called cryogenic hardening. This makes the blades even more close-grained and more durable.
This traditional tool "Made in Germany" is something you will have your entire life long and was made for the passionate archer.
Choose the diameter that your personal arrow shaft has in order to get the fitting adapter sleeve. Of course you can also order further sleeves in different diameters.
This way, arrow making is fun again.
