CARTER Honey 2 - Release
With the Honey 2, the shooter has the choice: either draw the bow and release the string with a small hand movement, as with the Honey, or use the additional safety mechanism, which must first be released before shooting. This small (safety) mechanism of the Honey 2 works very simply: the string is gripped with the release and the safety is held with the thumb. Now the shooter can pull out the string and does not have to be afraid of an unintentional release or can position himself correctly with the string pulled out and aim perfectly at the target. Only when he takes his thumb off the safety and pushes it back, he can release in the usual way.
In order to be able to switch between the two modes of operation, only the small screw on the safety has to be adjusted. Turning the screw in one turn increases the spring pressure and the additional fuse is switched off. Turn the screw out one turn and the thumb safety can be used.
The handle of the Honey 2 has been designed without notches for the fingers and is universally suitable for all hand sizes. In addition, the head of the release is not rigid but movable. This way, every shooter finds the optimal position and can pull the string comfortably.
