Description
Complete arrow | BSW Timber - fletched ex works
Pine wood is one of the oldest used woods at all - at least for the construction of arrows, because already in the Stone Age shafts were made of it. And even today, pine shafts are a popular and proven basis for home-made arrows. Pine owes its popularity to its balanced ratio of stability and weight and its good properties: it has a very uniform grain, is very robust and heavier than cedar and spruce shafts.
The BSW Timber is factory feathered with natural feathers and has an individual cresting. The cresting itself, is made of a high quality foil with a very intricate abrasion resistant surface sealant. The natural feathering completes the arrow and ultimately provides its distinctive design and a more stable flight path.
