EVERTS ClickR - Clicker for traditional shooters
With the EVERTS ClickR, traditional shooters can finally benefit from the advantages of a clicker.
Why and for whom a clicker at all?
Archery is based on a clean technique that can be reproduced at any time. Only those who develop a continuous shooting sequence and have internalised it deeply will achieve consistently good hits. It doesn't matter whether you shoot a longbow, hunting bow, recurve bow, rider bow or blank bow and whether you try to hit intuitively or with sights.
An essential part of such a good technique is a constant draw length. The EVERTS ClickR ensures that this is achieved with every single shot and is thus learned over time. Through regular shooting with the ClickR, the shooter's specific draw length is imprinted in his subconscious and thus becomes a correctly learned, important component of his shooting sequence.
The ClickR also ensures a constant draw length in 3D and field archery, and here especially in uphill and mountain shooting, where many shooters change their draw length unintentionally. If you don't just want fun but continuous, consistently retrievable performance with beautiful hits, the ClickR can make a significant contribution.
Treatment of gold fear / target panic
Archers who - consciously or unconsciously - suffer from gold anxiety, the ClickR helps to regain control over the timing of the release. The visual stimulus that stimulates the subconscious to release the arrow is replaced by the focus on the acoustic stimulus of the ClickR signal. Thus, the ClickR can be the healing, technical solution to overcoming this mental hurdle.
Mounting
- 1.string your bow and please note your correct brace height .
- 2. choose a place where the limbs hardly bend when you draw the bow. Often a hand's length from the limb tip on the upper limbs is a suitable position. Make sure that the string does not get tangled on limbs or chord dampers when in use.
- 3.You now need a second person to measure the distance from the future clicker position to the string with a tape measure/measure. Now draw your bow to the anchor position. Note the distance from the ClickR to the string.
- Now clean the surface, e.g. with alcohol/spirit or similar. It should be clean and free of grease so that the adhesive pad adheres reliably and permanently.
- 5.Now attach the ClickR with the help of the adhesive foil. Attention, the 3M adhesive foil takes full effect after 24 hours.
- 6.mark the spot on your string where the ClickR thread is to be threaded later. The direction of the thread should be perpendicular from the extended ClickR to the string and from this point move approx. 15mm higher towards the tip.
- Now tension the bow. Untwist the string at the desired point and pass the ClickR thread through it until the measured thread length is reached and knot the thread behind the string to prevent it from slipping when pulling out.
- 8.By moving the knot, now adjust the thread length to you in the Finetuning.
Attention:
Please never pull out the ClickR beyond the point of the click sound. This will deform the clicker plate and leave permanent damage. The shot of an arrow puts a strain on the material. These occurring forces and vibrations naturally also affect the ClickR. Therefore, examine from time to time whether all parts are still firmly seated and remain intact. If there is any damage, wear or other deficiencies, please do not continue to use the product.
