The carbon replacement brings a significant increase in performance and accuracy to bow making.
From our experience, the characteristics of the directional Speed Tuff are much better than with standard carbon.
The performance-enhancing fabric reinforces the limb and thus saves material to significantly increase the throwing performance.
The directional structure also significantly reduces the sideways twisting of the limb, optimizing its precise and error forgiving handling.
The wood must be sanded evenly in the area where you are glueing, preferably using a belt sanding machine, so that there are no more irregularities. Coat the Speed Tuff and the wood with epoxy resin adhesive over the entire surface and press it together. Structure: Wood bow, Speed Tuff, rubber (to level out unevenness), metal rail or wood rail. The clamping can be done with many screw clamps. The best thing for you is to accommodate as many as you can. Hardening time at room temperature approx. 12 hours. Then do not stress the bow for another 24 hours. A warm room is advantageous.
