The Blizzard Classic Competition has always been one of the most popular bows from SPIDERBOWS, combining an elegant appearance with outstanding characteristics. In the latest model generation, it has been revised once again and the number of variants has been extended. The most striking or noticeable new feature of the Blizzard Classic Competition is probably the upgrade in terms of material, as it is now made from highly stable, extremely torsion-resistant, stabilized wood. This means that the Blizzard Classic Competition middle section achieves even better and extremely smooth shooting behavior thanks to its greater weight and stability. All centerpieces are cut across the middle and have more center shot, which results in easier arrow tuning and more precision. Possible lengths of 19, 21 and 23 inches make the Blizzard Classic Competition riser an ideal starting point for a perfect tournament bow with 64, 66 or 68 inch bow length and forgiving, fast shooting behavior.
The look is defined by the two crescent-shaped elements in black or silver-grey, which are separated by a central strip of solid-coloured, stabilised wood. The centre strip is additionally bordered by two decorative strips only 2 mm thick.
ILF - technology meets tradition!
SPIDERBOWS has rethought the ILF system and developed perhaps the best ILF attachment for limbs on the market. High-quality, precise technology meets the tradition of a wooden centerpiece.
The ILF attachment with all its adjustment options is housed in a solid metal block and forms a closed system. The lateral adjustment for limb alignment, for example, is completely integrated into the metal block and thus avoids cracks in the centerpiece, which can occur with conventional systems because the screw is located in the wooden centerpiece. In addition, there are tiller screws that have an additional ring and a movable head that optimally guides and fixes the limbs. The bow can be optimally adjusted to personal requirements via the tiller and the draw weight of the bow can be adjusted by approx. ±3 lbs.
SPIDERBOWS ILF attachment has a little something more to offer: Due to the requirements of the different sets of rules of the various archery associations, the Tiller screw has been extended to include an internal grub screw that serves as an additional locking mechanism. This allows the Tiller screw to be locked in the desired position. If you want to avoid any adjustment at all, the Tiller screw can be fixed in the block using a clamping screw on the side.
