In combination with the centre-cut window – for optimal arrow flight and easy arrow tuning – and the matching SWS limbs, an almost perfect 60, 62, 64 or 66-inch bow is created, with very smooth shooting behaviour, maximum precision and a soft Draw length.
The Hawk Competition line sets new standards in terms of smoothness and precision, making it ideal for ambitious archers who want to take part in tournaments. The riser is made of highly stable, sustainable SRF wood in cocobolo, curly birch, rosewood, wenge, beech or ebanoda design. Sustainability is achieved by using European woods, which not only get their beautiful design from a special treatment, but also gain in stability and weight. Without additional inserts or other materials, this creates a vibration-free riser that impresses with absolute precision.
Solid wood, on the other hand, is used in the Amazonque/Smoked Oak and Smoked Oak/Padouk variants. The inside and outside is made of Amazon wood (Ovangkol) or smoked oak, depending on the variant, and the middle strip of smoked oak or padouk. The addition of decorative Micarta strips, which give the riser additional torsional rigidity, results in a riser with high stability in a classic, timeless design.

The riser, made from the heaviest and most stable wood that Spiderbows has ever used, gives the bow impressive stability. The Hawk Competition is the perfect choice for young people or women for whom the Spiderbows Condor was too powerful.
The delicate design of the riser fits perfectly in the hand and ensures a comfortable feel, regardless of the size of the gripping hand. For purists, we offer the riser in deep black or a blend of warm brown shades. Those who prefer a more colourful look can choose one of the three models with a contrasting coloured stripe to express their personal style. They all have one thing in common: the silky shimmering finish.
SWS - SPIDERBOWS Limb System
With the innovative Spiderbows limb system (SWS), Spiderbows has created a future-oriented solution for take-down bows. All limbs of the SWS series can be seamlessly combined with the SWS-compatible handles from Spiderbows, with only a negligible change in draw weight.
SPIDERBOWS SWS limbs - versatile and ingenious
The matching SWS limbs are really something special! Made with a bamboo core covered on both sides with the special SPIDERBOWS black glass, they guarantee fast and precise shooting. The bow can also be drawn very softly and does not get into stacking even with long draws of up to 32 inches. The limbs of the carbon versions are equipped with an additional layer of carbon. The carbon inlay gives the Hawk even more speed and torsional stiffness, which is particularly noticeable with long draw lengths. The transition to the riser is conically tapered on all limbs and contributes to the timeless design of the entire bow. In short: an ingenious limb for this short and fast hunting bow.
The ultimate limb in the Hawk series is the Competition. Solid visible carbon on the outside, a bamboo core and special high-strength black glass spider bow on the inside result in a limb that generates maximum torsional stiffness, excellent speed and unsurpassed shooting stability. The limbs are the perfect choice for tournament archers looking for an optimal setup.
