Description

STRONGHOLD High Performance - Ø 50-120cm - Straw target

The straw target is an inseparable part of archery. Before modern materials such as foam found their way into the production of targets, straw was the material from which targets for archers were made. Especially in the hobby sector, coiled straw targets are still very popular and the first choice for recreational archers. In order to be able to offer these archers an even better and more efficient straw target that offers good value for money, STRONGHOLD has developed the High Performance straw target, which is available in four different diameters.

High Performance

The "High Performance" stands here for the excellent characteristics that the target offers. Due to a significantly tighter and stronger winding as well as a circumferential lashing band, the processed straw is pressed more strongly. This not only increases the maximum draw weight of the bow with which the target can be shot, but also the life of the target. Arrows no longer penetrate the target as deeply and weather resistance also improves as moisture can no longer penetrate as deeply.

Please note:

  • The specifications of the maximum draw weights refer to firing the target with an aluminium arrow suitable for the respective draw weight of the test bow. With carbon arrows, which are usually thinner and faster, a certain margin upwards must be calculated in, so that the actual maximum draw weight may be lower than the stated values.
  • To prevent damage to the arrows, the space behind the target should be free. Leaning against a wall or tree may damage the arrows.
