Shooting correctly with a recurve bow
Did you know that archery is the second most technically difficult sport in the world? There are 54 (in words: fifty-four!) things to consider in order to make the perfect shot. No one can do this unless they leave this sequence of movements completely to their subconscious at some point.
To do this, however, you first have to learn archery properly from the outset. And this works best with the position phase model, according to which the German Archery Association and the German national archery coach train.
The book "Shooting correctly with a recurve bow" explains this archery technique briefly and clearly. Numerous photos illustrate the individual steps.
This book is intended to be a practical companion for beginners to archery in particular. The shooting sequence with an Olympic recurve bow is shown. However, these basic techniques can also be easily transferred to compound bows and traditional bows.
The book is supplemented by many practical tips:
- Building a zero bow for technique training
- The right archery equipment for beginners
- Five good training tips
- Structure of a training session
- Training content with the support of learning aids
- Learning aids for archery training
