Description
WILDCRETE 3D Baboon
The baboon is one of the most unpopular animals in South Africa. Due to their destructive behaviour towards agriculture, they are a nuisance to many farmers. Among the 3D animals from WILDCRETE 3D, it is one of the most popular targets. In real life, size and weight depend on the species. Baboons prefer the savannah or areas inhabited by humans. They are opportunists – they eat whatever is available at the moment. With its long, sharp canines, the baboon can also be extremely dangerous to humans.
Baboons are primates of the genus Papio, one of 23 genera of Old World monkeys. There are five species of baboon, commonly known as the hamadryas baboon, guinea baboon, Anubis baboon, yellow baboon and hamadryas baboon. Each species is native to one of the five regions of Africa, with the hamadryas baboon also native to parts of the Arabian Peninsula.
Baboons are among the largest non-humanoid primates and have existed for at least two million years. The size and weight of baboons vary depending on the species.
