Description
WILDCRETE 3D Chameleon
Chameleons (Chamaeleonidae) are a distinctive and highly specialised group of Old World lizards, of which 202 species had been described by June 2015. They are mainly found on the African continent.
The animals live in wooded areas in warm regions. Depending on the species, they inhabit bushes and trees or layers of leaves and vegetation. They are best known for their amazing ability to change colour. They can change colour depending on their mood and camouflage themselves to match their surroundings when necessary.
Chameleons are characterised by their zygodactyl feet, their swaying gait and combs or horns on their forehead and snout. Most species, especially the larger ones, also have a prehensile tail. Chameleons' eyes can move independently, but when targeting prey, they focus forward in coordination, giving the animal stereoscopic vision.
The colouring of the 3D animal is determined by the manufacturer and may therefore differ from the illustration and cannot be selected.
