Description

WILDCRETE 3D Horse Antelope

The roan antelope, known in German as the Pferdeantilope (Hippotragus equinus), is an African antelope from the horse antelope family. With a weight of 270 kilograms and a shoulder height of 1.40 metres, it is one of the largest antelopes in Africa after the eland. It has a grey-brown, reddish-shimmering coat with black and white markings on its face. Its ears are long, narrow and tufted at the tips. A mane extends from the crown to over the shoulders. Both sexes have strongly ringed horns that curve backwards in a semicircle.

The horse antelope lives in forest and grassland savannahs, mainly in tropical and subtropical grasslands, savannahs and shrubland biomes. These range from forests with grassy undergrowth (such as the central Zambian miombo forests) to grasslands with few trees, where they feed on medium-sized grasses. They form harem groups of five to 15 animals with one dominant male. Horse antelopes often fight each other for dominance in their herd by swinging their horns while both animals are kneeling.

Notes on delivery time

Please note the following information on the stated and actual delivery time:

You are purchasing an item that we do not have in stock ourselves, but order from a wholesaler for you. As a rule, it will be with us in approx. 5-7 working days and can then be dispatched to you immediately. For this reason, a maximum delivery time of 8-9 working days is displayed in the order form.

However, our shop system cannot display the stock levels of wholesalers and suppliers. Even the wholesaler cannot always have every variation in stock. It may therefore be the case that the item has to be ordered directly from the manufacturer (Asia, America). In this case, the delivery time can be extended to up to 12 weeks. In special cases, the item will be made for you and may have an even longer waiting time.

After finalising your order and checking the availability of your items, you will receive information from us with a more precise delivery time. If possible, we will also offer you alternatives that can be delivered more quickly.

Thank you for your understanding.
